The membership Services committee welcomes you to the 2007-2008 Sorority year. You will hear more about these initiatives at chapter meetings and in the weeks ahead. It was a good feeling to know that the plans the committee would like to implement this year are aligned with the National Membership Services committee.

P.a.S.S. - Preserving and Sustaining our Sisterhood
Delta Trio
The following are ages groups for Doll, Diva and Dear:

  • Delta Dolls (ages 20-40)
  • Delta Divas (ages 41-61)
  • Delta Dears (ages 62+)

The chapter theme for December is “Fellowship”. Plan to participate in as many Delta activities as possible this month. Let's enjoy one another this holiday season. Reflection question: What does your chapter mean to you?

Extra Mile Award 2008
The Extra Mile Award 2007 will be presented at Founders' Day, January 26, 2008. The criteria and nomination form is included in the newsletter, Membership Services table at chapter meeting and you may download this form for your convenience. You may submit your nomination form via the following methods:

  • Snail mail:Taliva Tillman, Attn: Extra Mile Award 2008, 12730 South Paulina Street, Calumet Park, Il. 60827

  • In-Person: Enclose form in a sealed envelope for the December's chapter meeting

Deadline: January 9, 2008

Special Reclamation Event
Let's continue our reclamation efforts. We are in the reclamation race to finish first in Orlando, Florida at the National Convention. If everyone participates in this marathon we are sure to win!! What do you have to do? Reclaim in active sorors. Bring them to chapter meetings, chapter events an d committee meetings. If you need assistance, pass their names with complete addresses and phone numbers to the Membership Services Committee.

R & R Marathon
A special prize will be presented for the leader in the R & R Marathon at chapter meeting. Submit your verification log sheet and take the lead.

Red Book Alert
If your information in the 2002-2004 edition of the chapter Red Book has changed please notify the Membership Services Committee by completing the change of information form at chapter meeting. You may email your correction to me at mztat9 @aol.com, regarding Red Book Correction.

Friendly Reminders:

• The 25 & 50 Year Mem bership Recognition Form is available at the membership services table each month.

• The dress code for chapter meeting is business attire . We should refrain from wearing jeans and gym shoes.

• Eating is not permitted in the meeting room during chapter meeting.

• If you have any suggestions for the committee or the chapter please utilize the suggestion box at the membership services table .
