BAD HAIR DAYS
Does your hair dictate
what kind of day you will have? Very often the attitude we have
toward others is a result of how we feel about ourselves. Have you
ever gotten up in the morning, looked in the mirror at your hair
and screamed BAAAD HAIR DAY!!
Some or all of the following can cause a BAD HAIR
DAY.
- Winter wool caps hats and scarves have left your
hair damaged and out of control.
- Sleeping on rollers and cotton pillowcases has
caused hair breakage.
- The constant use of blow dryers, hot curlers
and pressing combs has made your hair dry and brittle.
- Dry hair and dry, itchy and scaly scalp.
- Not trimming the ends of your hair at least three
times a year.
African-Americans normally have extremely dry hair
because of our hair texture. Whether you wear your hair relaxed,
natural, braids, twists or knots; you need products that have the
ingredients to attack the dryness associated with African Americans.
When choosing shampoos, conditioners and maintenance items for your
hair be sure they are specifically for African Americans. These
products have moisturizers and nutrients to help you get the looks
and styles you want, while helping you to keep your hair healthy
looking.
TIPS TO COMBAT BAD HAIR DAYS
- Lightly spray hair with Pink Oil Sheen and put
a silk scarf under wool caps and hats to protect hair from the
wool. Wool directly on your hair can cause hair damage and breakage.
- To reduce hair breakage, after shampooing condition
your hair with Revitalex Moisture Replenishing Conditioner to
replace natural oils removed while shampooing the hair.
- Always protect your hair when using blow dryers,
hot curlers or pressing combs by putting a small amount of Pink
Oil Moisturizer Light Hair Lotion on your hair before using hot
styling tools.
- Pink Oil Moisturizer Conditioning Hair Dress
with Eucalyptus Extract is specially formulated for dry, itchy,
and scaly scalp. Apply directly to the scalp and comb to distribute
throughout the hair.
- Before going to sleep at night spray Pink Oil
Moisturizer Glosser with Shea Butter, Aloe Extract, and Jojoba
Oil on your hair. Consider investing in either a satin sleep cap
or satin pillowcase. Both are low cost items.
- Hair grows about ½ inch per month, but split
or dry ends can cause hair to break and it will seem like your
hair is not growing. Trimming those ends can help prevent breakage.
